CONCERTS
Five concerts in three days at various Berlin performance venues present trumpet music by more
than 30 composers from 11 different countries. Compositions by three generations of the world´s
leading composers can be heard including pieces by venerable masters like Stockhausen, Berio and
Kagel as well as those of younger and less fequently performed composers.
While the three
prime time concerts (each evening at 7 PM)
revolve around specific themes, the two
late night concerts
(at 10 PM) are devoted to performance concepts by William Forman and Gerard Presencer.

Since the beginning of the practical seminar
WRITING TOTALLY TRUMPET
on February 20th, composer have come together and experimented with some of the soloists
of the festival. At the final meeting on April 24th the results of these informal collaborations
will be presented and discussed.
