DANIEL MOY
Daniel Moy was born in Bielefeld, where he received his first trumpet and trombone lessons
at the local music school. At the age of 17 he was accepted as youth student
into the class of Prof. Heinz Fadle at the Hochschule für Music in Detmold. After completing
his Abitur he came to Berlin in order to continue his studies with Prof. Olaf Ott at the Hochschule
für Musik "Hanns Eisler". During his studies he also attended master classes with
Uwe Füssel, Ben van Dijk, Christian Lindberg, Bart van Lier and Mike Svoboda. From 2005 until
2009 Daniel was a member of the Young German Philharmonic Orchestra. In addition he has been a guest
musician of the Osnabrück Symphony Orchestra, the Bielefelder Philharmonic as well as the
Deutsches Sinfonie Orchester Berlin and has performed with the Modern Art Ensemble Berlin.
